I'm Ready to Roll!

Mom has been waiting for weeks to use my new stroller!! We did have a couple of nice warm days about two weeks ago and mom did "Christen" it. Actually it wasn't all that bad but don't tell mom I said that! *giggles* You see, this stroller is bigger than my last stroller and it even has a private parlor for me to hide when I don't feel like being sociable! See!! That's my butt sticking out in case you didn't recognize it! *Giggles*

We did see some interesting places while on our walk! I really like this church that is just around our corner and told mom to stop and take a picture of it! Isn't it quaint? Mom might start going there!!!

I'M BACK!

It's been since Christmas since I posted and I don't know where the time went! I do know I MISSED YOU GUYS!!! Let me tell you what I've been up to! Well first of all Mom got Photoshop Element 7 for Christmas and is determined to figure out how to use it! I must do it for my dear Zoolatry friends who have inspired me! I'll surprise you guys one day! *giggles*

You will be interested to know that I put together an Auction on the website along with major help from my dear friend SKEEZIX!! Took me many days and nights but it was a challenge and for a good cause! So I now know I have blogging in my blood!

I have also been goofing off a lot and have to share with you my latest! My good pal, Winston J. Churchill, is a riot! So is the family of Guido and more kitties too numerous to mention. More stories to come. Well Winston J. is a real cool dude and he made me a duplicate of his "Hot Scooter" So here is my challenge: I have to somehow figure out how to add my special friend, Athena, to the sidecar of my Scooter!! Do you think I can do it????

Well the weather is finally getting warm so I have to get my Scooter "ready to go" so I can share my adventures with you!

I hope you all had a wonderful Mother's Day! Mom spent the day at home and was pretty sad being this was our first Mother's Day without Grandma! But I gave her lots of sandpaper kisses on her cheek and that put a smile on her face!!!

Mom and I want to wish all of you a very Merry Christmas and a blessed New Year! Mom is having a hard time this Christmas for a few reasons, but we have been blessed by all of you in so many ways!! Your cards have brought us so much joy and my mailman is dying to see me! (Did I tell you I hide every time someone comes to our door!)*giggles*

Mom and I have truly been blessed by starting our blog. We have met so many pawsome kitties who have touched our lives so much! I love you all even though I don't get a chance to tell you!

Today is Wordless Wednesday, and I wanted to share with you just a few of the beautiful crochet gifts that my friend, Hazel Lucy's mom makes all year round! Here I am modeling my special large white and pink blanket and scarf that I've had for almost a year! Even with my unclipped nails, this blanket still looks great! Do you all realize how close we are to Christmas? Tummy Tuesday!

One thing mom absolutely loves about cats are their cute fluffy bellies! She loves to see me in this position but she can't keep her fingers off of me! She heard that when a kitty rolls over on their tummies that they are said to be "content." Well, I must be one content kitty cause you'll find me in this pose most of the day!

Now this you may have already seen. It's one of mom's favorite! I spend most of my days and nights on mom's bed! Maybe I'm trying to keep it warm for mom ya think? Well mom will thank me tonight cause it was so cold here today it was snowing! I'll share some pics of the snow with you tomorrow! Well, it's time for me to crawl back in my bed!

Yawning is Contagious!

Today I was reading Grreta's blog and she had shared what she considered an embarrasing picture her mom took of her yawning! Mom and I thought she looked so cute and I really loved her cat tree too! Well hours later, mom caught me in the exact same way! Yes, YAWNING! It was a big one too! So I just didn't want Grreta to feel alone and thought I'd show my embarrassing moment with you too! *giggles*

The good thing about yawning is that you get these results! Yes, a nice long Sunday nap which I think you will admit I enjoyed thoroughly!

Guido's Big Day!

Happy Saturday my friends! Many of you may know about my friend, Guido, The Italian Cat, who is competiting tonight for a kool big million on "Think Like A Cat Show" on the Game Show Network at 9;30PM Eastern time! I am so excited for him and am so proud to know him. Mom has invited her neighbor friend over to have a pizza party and watch it together. Jill, mom's friend, is a cat-lover too! She is my private kitty sitter when mom has to leave me for a long period of time. Fortunately, that isn't often. But I hope you all will be able to tune in tonight and watch to see the show! I'm so excited, I can't wait. Our super kool friend, Skeezix, is going to his party today! Those of you who live in CA should stop by and say hello! Here's a little video that will be more informative on what is taking place today!

Now to show all of you just how much I love Meow Mix, here is my Meow Mix Clock that plays the Meow Mix Tune every hour! It's a hoot! You remember my Grandma. Well she saw it in a magazine and ordered it for me! I also loved their dry food til I got sick and had to be put on prescription food! Yuck! Oh I can still taste Meow Mix when I think of it! *giggles*

Well I better stop typing and take a nice long nap so I can stay up late and watch the show! Hope you all will be watching with me to see if Guido wins! Have a great weekend my friends!

Blairsville's Veteran's Day Parade!

Happy Veteran's Day everyone! Blairsville has a parade every year and it begins on our end of the street. It is so big that if you run inside for a coat, it's over by the time you get back! *giggles* Our parade always starts with our Blairsville veterans!

Our Blairsville Band is really good and we have a great football team too! Go Bobcats!

We can't forget the local Fire Department! Here's a view of the parade heading toward the center of our town!

Looking down the street is the town pavillion that mom and I can see from our porch and apartment windows. At night it is all lit up and they put the town Christmas tree goes there too! It's really pretty too when it snows!

Now here is a shot that is priceless! If you look closely, you'll see me peeking out the screen door wanting to go out and watch the parade with mom! Well, that's a little exagerated cause if mom would come get me... I'd run and hide! *giggles*

Blog Blast for Peace Day

Today is a day set aside for bloggers around the world to dedicate their post to peace. What is peace? For me, peace is being left alone to sleep and eat all day and play when I feel like it. A lot of people feel the same way. "Don't bother me with your problems. I have enough of my own. The word peace is used so casually too by everyone. It can be said as a greeting, or at the end of a service with the words 'Peace be with you; or Go in peace.' But how many of us really make an effort to make a contribution to peace in this trying world we live in? We often feel to help spread peace we have to become deeply involved in organizations etc. But showing a little love and consideration to a friend, neighbor, person on the street, can make a significant difference in a person's life. That good deed will definitely be appreciated and you should feel good in return. We may never know how we touched those individuals but it certainly can't hurt.

So mom and I are going to burn a candle all day today in hopes that all these blogs dedicated to peace today will touch the hearts of many and bring us closer to peace in these difficult and trying times we live in!

Wordless Wednesday!

Since today is Wordless Wednesday, I decided to take much liberty in what I am allowed to do and what I'm not allowed to do! There aren't too many things in our apartment that I am restricted from, but Great Grandad's bookcase has been made very clear to me that it is off grounds for me! Mom also knows that I had to do something today to make her speechless; so I decided to test her by taking a nice nap on the forbidden desk. Actually, I surprised myself that I got up here without breaking anything. My Guardian Angel was with me today! *giggles* But I wish you could have seen mom's face when she found me. I pretended to be sound asleep so she wouldn't disturb me. She did have enough time to take a picture of this crime to blackmail me in the future! I don't want you to worry about me though. She slowly took off the dish and vase before bringing me down and didn't lay a finger on me! I knew she wouldn't but I just wanted her to know that today was my day and I've been wanting to take a nap up there for months! *wink*

Meezer Lazy Monday

Why is it the older you get, the harder it is to get started on Mondays. Well while browsing through some pictures, I found a few kitties who seem to agree with my idea!!

Now this cute kitty is trying to keep the sun out of her eyes, but I think her eye mask slipped just a little! *giggles*

Now we all know why this kitty hates Mondays don't we! *giggles*

This kitty reminds me of mom on an early Monday morning... but don't tell her I said that!

But of course we know and love this famous cat whose favorite day of the week is not Monday!

Some of these kitties had a good reason to not want to wake up early Monday morning, but can you see why I hate to wake up on ANY morning! At my age, you can't get enough beauty sleep! *giggles*

Well I hope you all had a fabulous weekend. Mom and I decorated for Halloween and watched our Steelers win yesterday! I had a good reason to wake up this morning.... how about you!

This is my real human mommy! She left me with mom to pursue a professional ballet career and now lives in Australia! We're purring to see her at Christmas!! She is one kool gal!

And this is a picture many of you have seen. it is actually one of my favorites. This is one of the last times I was able to snuggle with Grandma. Grandma, if you're looking down, please know I love you and miss you!

Fashion Friday

Today is to be Fashion Friday, but MOM.... this is not at all kool!! I appreciate your trying and your heart is in the right place, but please stop humiliating me. First of all, you like ladybugs... not me. Second, you needs your eyes examined! This outfit is way too small for me!! Meezer Monday

Now this might not look like much to you, but for me it was a victory. You see, when I was little I used to love to jump from mom's bed to the top of her closet and sleep there all day. Now that I'm up in age, I don't have the UMPF I need to do it anymore. Well, this weekend, mom was cleaning out her summer clothes and the top shelf was almost empty. I had my eye on her constantly and suddenly I got the urge to give it one more try!!! Voila!!! I did it all on my own!! Actually, I surprised myself and had to ask mom after a nice long nap to help me down! This will go in the Toulouse history book. Not bad for an old Meezer like myself! *giggles*

I'm Back!!

I am so happy to be back and I can't thank you all for the kind notes you left mom and me! Mom is feeling better. She had a huge tumor removed from her neck back in '86 and has a permanent trach that allows her to speak in a whisper. I love it cause she can't yell at me *giggles* but she can chase me! Arfff! Anyway, because of that she frequently gets all the bugs that are running around. She has great doctors and the best male nurse in the country! Yea.... ME!!! I just can't thank you enough for all you've done for me. I tried to keep up with a lot of your blogs and they truly kept our spirits up!

I want to give a special thanks to Zoey and Maggy for making me this pawsome costume! I just love it -- can you tell??? Every time I stopped by their page, I heard my favorite Sesame Street songs. Mom lately has been calling me a grouch so I decided to dress up as Oscar for Halloween! I'm so excited for Halloween and I think you have all done such a marvelous job decorating your blogs! So here's to Halloween and some really grusome and scary good times for all!!!

My Almost First Mom!

This is my mom's youngest daughter, Jenni who is a professional ballet dancer for the West Australian Ballet Company. The reason my cat mom was bred was to give Jenni a Siamese kitten of her own. So I was born on the side of mom's bed one night with the intentions of going home with mom's daughter to live forever. Well, Jenni's roommate was allergic to cats and I couldn't go live with her after all. Mom naturally fell in love with me and had to keep me! I will give Jenni credit for a lot of my personality. She did live with us my first 3 months of my life and she really spoiled me and made me who I am! She lives so far away though that I don't get to see her that often! Now here are some pictures of what she does for a living!

Here she is high in the air! Yup, in all the years she has been dancing, a guy did drop her onto a HARD hardwood floor and did sustain injuries. Comes with the job I guess. I think she's crazy. She is also almost 5'11", so that was quite a drop! *giggles*

Here's another ballet pose that must be hard to do! Mom tries and she just cracks me up!!!

Now this is a picture of me on top of the refrigerator trying to attempt a "Jump" just like Jenni would do hoping to land on my feet in one piece! *giggles*

Guess who came to dinner?

Isn't this poodle sweet? This one is, but my cousin, Dutchess, isn't! She and Aunt Linda came to visit today and while mom and Aunt Linda were talking, Dutchess helped herself to my toys! Now I don't have a lot of toys cause I don't play with them. I do however play with my mice and pipe cleaners. Well Dutchess decided she liked my mice and look what she did with them!

Can you recognize them??? I couldn't - but I knew they were mine by the smell of them. So the girls came in and saw what Dutchess did and made a big fuss over the poodle! What about me? Those were my toys chewed up not hers! So here's what I did!!

If you look closely, you can see me hiding in the corner of the closet laying on my pillow. This is my private closet where I go to pout or be left alone to think. ""Just wait til mom and I have to dogsit Dutchess" *giggles* Mom did feel bad and I know she'll get me more mousies, but if things couldn't be bad enough, our STEELERS LOST!!

She wants to be a blonde but doesn't have the guts to do it so she makes me one! I think that's why she dresses me in pink and makes me sleep on a pink blanket! Don't tell her but my favorite color is pink! *giggles*

Happy Wednesday everyone! Another gorgeous day in PA. Mom is a little under the weather so we just spent the day relaxing. I love it when I have mom all to myself. Now, mom wanted me to ask all of you if anyone else puts their toys in their food dish before they eat? I don't even know why I do it. *shrugging his shoulders* Just something I've always done. Isn't this pawsome? This award was given to me by The Misadvenures of Me kitties! *Waves to them* I am tickled pink to receive it and will proudly pass it on to seven more kitties. I'd just like to take this opportunity to thank all of you who have reached out and befriended me and helped me along my journey! I am motoring along a bit faster thanks to all the help and patience that I've received. This is the coolest planet on earth and I'm so glad I found it!

Today Mom finally finished up her Fall cleaning! Thank goodness! I was about to go on strike because I felt alone and neglected! Pouting and hiding didn't even stop her which usually always works! She's off now to do some shopping and leaving me again! Can you imagine that? All I can say is there better be some pipe cleaners in those bags when she comes home! Just not sure how long I'm going to make her pay for her neglect. I guess I'll take a nap while she is gone and ponder on the subject! I'm sure I'll come up with something! *giggles*

What I won't do for my mom! She came home one day tickled pink with this cute tee shirt. I couldn't refuse to wear it for her. However, wearing it was one thing, but she expected more -- pictures! This is the only picture mom has of me in a tee-shirt. Maybe I should give in a little and cooperate more with her. What do you think?

Now, this is more to my liking! I love to wear bow ties and glasses! I really don't know why! So which do you prefer?? *giggles*

Off Early to see Dr. Conklin!

Happy Thursday dear friends! In about one hour I will be boarding my carrier to go see Dr. Conklin. I've packed my pipecleaners and my Black Kitty Webkinz. *giggles* Not my favorite place to visit, but she does take good care of me and she is really cute and funny! You see, I have diet-controlled diabetes, early stage of CRF, high blood pressure and loss of sight in my left eye. (You can notice it in some of my pictures) Well I've been very blessed to have caught all of this early, but I'm not a good patient at all. You all know the crazy sounds Meezers make. Well my last visit I was GROWLING at mom when she picked me up!! So I will hopefully catch up with all your blogs later tonight but please cross your paws my lab work will all come back with good news!

I have to share with all my friends this precious picture that Maggy and Zoey made for me as a welcome gift to blogging! Pipe cleaners are the only toys I will really play with! They are light as a feather and fly like a bird! I think if I were human, I'd make a pretty good tennis player. Mom takes a pipe cleaner and twists and turns it into little toys of different shapes. Then she tosses them up in the air and I bat them right back at her. I'm really pretty good at this if I must say so! *giggles*

You may think I'm sleeping, but I don't miss a thing!

Happy Wednesday everyone! Boy the week is going fast but as you can see, I sleep most of the day! That doesn't mean I'm not on watch! I see and hear everything that goes on long before mom does! My eyesight is failing but my radar is very keen! Not much disturbs me except someone coming to the door or the bloody vacuum cleaner! I head for my hideaway when that occurs. Mom likes to blame me for not cleaning as often as she should and tells everyone I'm afraid of the noise. I've got big shoulders and I can take it. She is right though. I am officially retired and expect everyone to respect my peace and quiet. I don't, however, return that respect to mom. I LOVE to play every morning around 3AM and expect mom to feed me and play with me til I get tired. What a sucker she is! She enjoys it though! Tell me.... wouldn't anyone? *giggles*

I hate to sound conceited, but this is one of my favorite pictures of me cause I'm curled up with my Grandma! She was my best friend and always played with me and bought me cool toys. She was 91 and mom said she's up in heaven now. My kitty friends up at the Bridge told me they saw her and she's doing okay. So that makes me feel good that she has made so many new friends. I sure do miss her. You would have liked her too! She loved animals!!!

Mom took me for a stroll ride today!

Today was a beautiful Fall day in PA! Mom is loving this weather too much especially at my expense!! You see she bought me this stroller a couple years ago and she insists on taking me out in it! No matter how hard I cry, I can't win! Mom gets great pleasure out of embarrassing me for some reason! People come up to us and expect to see a baby in the stroller and sees me... to their surprise and laughter!!! I just think mom misses the fact that her kids are grown up so she's reliving those days through me! I've finally convinced her that I'm too big and heavy for this stroller and need a larger one before I'll be happy! Time will tell! However, I will share a little secret with you. I really do love going outside in my stroller and seeing new things. One tends to run out of things to do when stuck inside! In conclusion, mom's pretty cool and I know she loves me!!

Our Siamese Group 2007 Halloween Hayride!

Happy Sunday Everyone!

Well as I told you, I was hosting a Catster Siamese Lovers Around The World BBQ Birthday Bash last night for kitties who had birthdays in August and September! We haven't had a group party in a long time mostly cause me and mom have been so sick and then Grandma passed away! So I felt it was time for us to get together!!

We really had a good time eating and catching up with one another. It really felt good. So good, we're getting our thinking caps on to plan another Halloween Party. Last year we held a virtual party at Sleepy Hollow and was chased by The Headless Horseman! Also had a Halloween Costume Contest! What a blast! Hard to beat that one, but we're going to try! *giggles* Can you believe it is September already!!!

Today is a lazy day! Mom and I went back to bed and decided to make today a day to read and rest! I want to tell so many of you how much I've enjoyed reading your blogs! I have so much to learn but am having fun doing it!

I'm off to curl up with mom!

Busy Week!

This is mom's daughter who terrifies me! She's rather pretty though!

If you remember, the last time I wrote I was expecting the "Monster Daughter" to come for a visit! What a weekend!! She arrived early Saturday and I tore off into the kitchen pantry... which is really a huge closets with lots of little corners to hide in! She tried and tried to get me to come out with everything from sweet words to the use of CATNIP! That was playing dirty knowing how much I am addicted to that stuff! Well the nights were long for mom and I did feel sorry for her. She ended up curling up on the kitchen rug sleeping so I would come out and take my medicine and eat! I have her wrapped around my little paw, and I do feel a little guilty but my mom slept with me both nights even if it was on a hard floor!!
Now my mom did have a great time with her daughter. They went shopping and brought home all these "smelly oils" that made me sneeze! What the heck! They had a good time and I'm glad mom got to see her. I even came out to say "Goodbye" which really made big points in mom's book! As she was leaving I think I heard her say she'd be back and would bring the kids with her! Oh no, not the KIDS!! Oh well, I could stand to lose a few pounds and if that's what it takes.... I'll be back in the closet again! *giggles*

Where did the Week Go?

Another week passes and I don't know where the summer went? Mom is busy today because her daughter is coming tomorrow to spend the weekend with us. She lives about 4 hours away; so we don't get to see her very often. Now I don't know why I feel this way, but I hide in the closet and won't come out until she leaves. I think it had something to do with when I was little and she use to babysit me. I didn't and still don't like mom to leave me alone. But I'm getting better as I get older! I have to come out if I want food .... right? Also, football season starts and mom is a big Steeler fan and Miami and Florida State! We always make a big pot of chili in the crock pot and curl up with snacks and watch the games together! Go Steelers!

A Typical day in My Life!

At age 12, I don't have to tell you that I've slowed down a whole lot! When I was much younger, I used to be a Holy Terror! I had mom taking nerve pills and Dad was trying to kill me! (He wasn't a cat lover!) I also had a few siblings that made life more exciting! Those were the days!

Now, mom and I live in a cute little apartment in a quaint little town. We get along just fine because she knows I"M IN CONTROL!! I have her so wrapped around my paws that there isn't anything she wouldn't do for me. I refuse to eat unless she sits at the table with me, and I always wake her up for my 3AM meal which she faithfully does! Can you imagine that! She's a good sport though even though I go right back to sleep and she can't! *giggles*

My interests these days are trying to jump to the top shelf in mom's closets, playing with my favorite toys made by mom out of pipecleaners, and eating and sleeping. I also spend as much time as I can chatting with my internet friends on http://www.catster.com/. I'm preparing at the moment our Siamese annual Birthday BBQ coming up next week! We've had a lot of good times together but the past year, my health hasn't been too great! I'll tell you about that one day too!

Well enough for tonight! Time for meds and mom's really into watching the DNC; so I'll talk to you again soon!

Welcome to my little korner of the world! It's been two years since I've attempted to create a blog; so let's see if I can pull this off. My great friend Skeezy got me interested in blogging again. I bet a lot of you know who I mean! He is one of the coolest cats I know and is so funny! I might as well go back and tell you how I met him while I'm mentioning him. I met him on the best cat website called Catster!! He joined my group I created for Siamese cats and he's been a dear friend ever since!

Well, this past week Skeezix was filling in for Snuzzy on http://www.snuzzy.com/. It was my first time visiting Snuzzy so it was all new to me! Skeez had posted the cutest and funnies pictures of a variety of animals that had me rolling on the floor!! He did such a good job that you couldn't wait to wake up in the morning to run and see what Skeez had posted! I was so sad to see his duties end, but we're hoping they will invite him back. Snuzzy, as you probably guessed, is back and he is funny too! I highly recommend this website cause they say that laughter adds 8 years to a human's life; so just imagine how long we could live! Did I tell you I am a Siamese cat? *giggles*

Well, I can see I have a lot to say and hope you enjoy reading about my experiences. I have so much to learn on how to do more than write to make my blog interesting; so any help and advice is always welcome!
