Does anyone have any idea why I do this??
Happy Wednesday everyone! Another gorgeous day in PA. Mom is a little under the weather so we just spent the day relaxing. I love it when I have mom all to myself. Now, mom wanted me to ask all of you if anyone else puts their toys in their food dish before they eat? I don't even know why I do it. *shrugging his shoulders* Just something I've always done. Maybe I'm afraid mom will take my pipe cleaner away from me, but that doesn't make sense. So if you have any ideas, mom would love to hear them!

We used ta put our fur mice in our water bowl of course the water wud then turn the colour of the mice. hehe It's jus fun ta watch the mom go "ewwwwwwww"

That is a very good idea, because a kitty needs to keep an eye on his toys. The only time our toys land in our food is when somekitty gets carried away when playing.
You've really got a thing for pipe cleaners, hey? Might have to put some on Kate's shopping list and check them out for myself. I tend to keep my toys and my foods separate, but that's a personal choice. Eachcat to his/her own...
I've never done that before but I don't want mouse furs in my food either.

You know sometimes I put toys in the food bowl. Only if I was playing and got really hungry and then forgot about the toy after I ate.

We do not know why. Gandalf's litter mate BooBoo like to put fev-vers in his water bowl. We do not know why he does that either. We just thought he liked wet fev-vers.

When I wuz a kitten I used to put toys in my water but I dont do that now. Heck I jes startid making biskits on this one partickyoolur pillow in the bedroom. I've nefurr bin much of a biskit maker but now all of a suddin I am. But jes on that pillow. Weerd.

Mom is home and resting good. Since I diddint haff grammy to spoil me rottin I wastid no time cuddling mommy and telling her how happy I wuz she came home. Tonite we is hangin in the bedroom with the windows open cuz its so nice outside. Me and Tenny are sniffin the world. This is a good nite and wile mommy still has a ways to go to heel up we is for now content.

We don't do that, but one of my (treacherous) Opposable Thumb Wench's friends' kitties does that with all her friends' hair elastics.
Maybe you think of your food place as a safe place (like where you would hide your food you want to eat later, if you lived in the wild) and you're trying to store your valuable pipe cleaners in a safe place?

wow, that is wierd.
my OWCB used to "fish" by dipping his kibble into his water bowl and then fishing it out, but I've never heard of a kitty putting toys in the food bowl before.
